At the heart of Rosso are Dave and his team, all with a deep passion for food, tradition and family. They seek out fresh ingredients from local sources where possible, expertly combined into the simple, flavour-rich dishes that draw the world to Italy.
. Our famous cheesecakes are prepared each day right here in the Cafe, using Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese, world-famous Belgian-made chocolate and premium flavourings.
Our signature Broccoli Cheese Soup and Cafe Chips are made in-house, as are 99% of our sauces, dressings and flatbread. Certified Angus Beef from Alberta cattle. We use top quality fresh (not frozen) sirloin steaks and fire grill them over an open flame.

The first Toast Breakfast & Lunch opened in May 1999 in a small town in Ireland. We pride ourselves on being the opposite of a large impersonal chain. We offer a comfortable welcoming place, with comfortable welcoming food.
In 2013 the Brady family moved from Ireland to St. Albert & decided to open another Toast Breakfast & Lunch, serving brunch that is casual yet sophisticated with fresh ingredients. Our mission is to serve great food, unique dishes and offer a fantastic service, all delivered to you with a smile.
