Lions Park is located approximately across from the Fire Station #1 on Sir Winston Churchill Avenue. Public parking is available downtown behind the St. Albert Curling Club.

Legacy Park is located in the heart of downtown Fort Saskatchewan with 7.5 acres of green space. You can listen to entertainment from the Band Shell or enjoy a family picnic on the grounds. Many of our summer festivals are held in Legacy Park such a Legacy Park Family Festival and Canada Day

It is the perfect place to stop, relax and unwind. Feed the ducks and geese or read a good book while sitting on a park bench or lying on blanket on the grass.

Devon Voyageur Park is located at the end of Saskatchewan Avenue West along the North Saskatchewan River and provides ample free parking space. This beautiful area includes:

• Boat Launch – BOATsmart (see Below)
• Picnic tables
• Gazebo
• Washroom facilities
• Relaxing sand area (located by car park #1)
• Special event space
• Fire pits*

There are also a number of activities to enjoy at the park:

William Hawrelak Park (originally Mayfair Park) is a 68 hectare park in the river valley featuring a 5 hectare lake and open grassy areas. The park hosts several major festivals and events throughout the year and is a fantastic location for all Edmontonians and visitors to explore.

Amenities include:

• Sheltered pavilion with indoor washrooms (open 8am-10pm daily)
• Picnic sites
• Lake (please no swimming, boats, or fishing)
• Paddleboat rentals are available
• Food concession in the main pavilion
• Playground
• Access to running, hiking and bike trails

Things to know:

• The plaza is available for spontaneous use only at this time. No public formal bookings.
• The plaza is open during park hours, 5am-11pm
• The fireplace and heaters are visitor operated and can be turned on by pressing the buttons located behind the timeline wall. These function during park hours and low temperatures.
• The lights in the plaza will turn on when dark and turn off in response to daylight levels. They also turn off completely when the park closes daily at 11pm.
• There is a wood burning stove

Located in South West Edmonton the Whitemud Park is located just off of Fox Drive. Nestled at the start of the Whitemud Ravine, the park is a perfect location to enjoy a piece of Edmonton’s urban nature.
