The Kate Blechinger Quintet

A folk jazz ensemble fronted by and featuring the original music of Edmonton based vocalist, composer and arranger, Kate Blechinger. Praised for her innovation and charisma, Kate Blechinger draws influence from a variety of sources, but focuses here on her two musical loves: folk music and jazz music.
Kate will perform a mixture of original material and arrangements featured on her 2018 debut album, Under a Dancing Sky, which paid tribute to Joni Mitchell and explored Joni’s influence on Kate’s artistry
