2019 WHITEMUD EQUINE CENTRE ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

2019 is a special year for Whitemud Equine Centre!

It is the 100th Anniversary of Fred Keillor’s log cabin. The 60th Anniversary of LeeColl Stables. And, the 20th Anniversary of the Whitemud Equine Learning Centre Association (originally the Whitemud Equine Centre Association and Friends of WECA Society).

We are inviting all alumni – family, friends, workers, riders, volunteers – from all of the eras to visit the farm and our fabulous new facility! There will be lots of time to visit, share memories and see what’s changed and what remains the same.

Saturday, June 29

10am – Noon: Little Bits Pancake Breakfast, under the tent featuring Alberta Country Legends and Rodeo Wind band – ticket required

10am – 3pm: Car Trunk Sale – Show Grounds

10am – 3pm: Classic Car Show & Shine, Show Grounds

Noon – 5pm: Alumni Registration, Keillor Cabin

Noon – 5pm: Wagon Ride Tours – ticket required

4-6pm: Heels Down Heads Up Happy Hour, Keillor Cabin grounds – ticket required

6:30 – 11:30pm: BBQ & Dance – under the tent – ticket required Dance to the music of the Dammit Jim band.
