DESCRIPTION:With a limitless supply of dirty riffs\, snarling vocals\, and timelessly catchy\, anthemic choruses\, AC/DC is one of the most important and most lasting forces in hard rock. Founded in the early ’70s by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young\, the Aussie band exploded onto the international stage in 1979 with the release of their multi-platinum-selling sixth album\, Highway to Hell. The death of charismatic frontman Bon Scott in 1980 threatened to derail the group\, but AC/DC powered through. They recruited Geordie vocalist Brian Johnson and unleashed their most successful effort to date\, Back in Black\, which has become the second best-selling album in history. The band continued to help define the sound of hard rock and metal throughout the ’80s\, ’90s\, and beyond\, spawning countless imitators and enjoying steady\, consistent commercial success. They also became one of the best examples of arena rock\, playing to enormous crowds as the years went on\, and rocking as hard as ever on studio albums like 1990’s pop-glinted The Razor’s Edge and 2020’s Power Up\, both of which reached the upper tiers of multiple charts.

DESCRIPTION:Nick Simmons is a Bronx born comedian and actor that came up in New York City and has since relocated to Austin to further grow his comedy prowess across scenes. Simmons can be seen headlining sold-out crowds across the United States and entertaining his massive audience across socials. While pursuing his craft in New York\, Simmons swiftly became a regular at every main club in Manhattan\, including the legendary Comedy Cellar\, NY Comedy Club\, and the Stand NYC. In Austin\, Simmons can be seen performing at The Comedy Mothership\, The Vulcan\, and The Sunset Strip to name a few. Additionally\, Simmons co-created and stars in Austin’s first improv-based comedy show ACTING-OFF. \nDespite his bodybuilder physique\, Simmons’ humour is grounded in self-deprecating bits that break the stereotype of the typical “gym-bro”. SUMMARY:Daniel Caesar - Son Of Spergy Tour
DESCRIPTION:Ashton Dumar Norwill Simmonds\, known professionally as Daniel Caesar\, was born on April 5th\, 1995 to Jamaican and Bajan parents. He grew up in a Christian household in Oshawa\, Ontario with heavy musical and gospel influences. Receiving his first guitar at the age of ten\, he was a boy with a love for acoustic.\n\nAt the age of 17\, he moved out and was homeless for a brief time. He began couch surfing in friend’s apartments and park benches. During this period local act Sean Leon introduced him to producers Jordan Evans and Matthew Burnett who introduced him to R&B titans Jodeci and D’Angelo\, helping to shape his sound. Critical acclaim came in 2014 with his EP Praise Break and later Pilgrims Paradise.\n\nHis 2016 song “Get You” featuring Kali Uchis broke down the industry door earning him millions of views and launching his career. He began creating more live performances as the demand increased and is now one of top ten most streamed Canadian artists on Spotify. His 2017 album Freudian included break-out hit “Get You” as well as “Best Part” featuring H.E.R. Both songs were nominated for Grammy awards for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Album\, with “Best Part” taking home the win for Best R&B Performance in 2019.\n\nFinding success on his own and through collaborations\, in 2021 he was featured on fellow Canadian star Justin Bieber’s hit track “Peaches” scoring him his first #1 Canadian and U.S. billboard hit as a collaborating artist. Other collaborations that year include work with FKA Twiggs\, Charlotte Day Wilson and BadBadNotGood.\n\n\nFor his latest album Never Enough\, Caesar took on more of a producer role which brought a welcomed challenge to his process. DESCRIPTION:Nick Simmons is a Bronx born comedian and actor that came up in New York City and has since relocated to Austin to further grow his comedy prowess across scenes. Simmons can be seen headlining sold-out crowds across the United States and entertaining his massive audience across socials. While pursuing his craft in New York\, Simmons swiftly became a regular at every main club in Manhattan\, including the legendary Comedy Cellar\, NY Comedy Club\, and the Stand NYC. In Austin\, Simmons can be seen performing at The Comedy Mothership\, The Vulcan\, and The Sunset Strip to name a few. Additionally\, Simmons co-created and stars in Austin’s first improv-based comedy show ACTING-OFF. \nDespite his bodybuilder physique\, Simmons’ humour is grounded in self-deprecating bits that break the stereotype of the typical “gym-bro”. Proudly from the Bronx\, a culturally rich and diverse area\, he provides a unique perspective that allows him to connect with audiences of all backgrounds and socioeconomic classes throughout the nation. SUMMARY:Meltt
DESCRIPTION:Life cycles through birth\, death\, and rebirth. Flames reduce objects to dust only for the wind to sweep them into the ether in another eternal form altogether. Meltt’s music resembles this natural sequence. The hum of distorted guitars dissolves into bright melodies carried by shimmering synths and soaring vocals. The Vancouver band—Chris Smith [lead vocals\, guitar\, bass\, keys]\, Jamie Turner [drums\, percussion]\, James Porter [guitar\, keys\, bass\, vocals] and Ian Winkler [bass\, keys\, guitar]—enable rock\, alternative and psychedelia to coexist in one ecosystem with airtight instrumentation and deft songcraft on their second album\, Eternal Embers [Nettwerk]. In the wake of the 2017 Visions EP\, the group spiritually and sonically aligned on their full-length debut Swim Slowly\, which yielded “Love Again\,” “On Your Own” and “Fool Of You.” Then\, throughout the pandemic\, the band wrote what would become Eternal Embers in sessions\, formulating ideas separately. Eventually\, they spent a month in a remote cabin where they wrote and shored up the foundation of the record. They shared five tracks as part of the 2023 Another Quiet Sunday EP that would only contribute to a larger statement on the new LP. “We want you to go on a journey with this album\,” Jamie concludes. “Even though we deal with darker themes\, it ends on a positive note. I’d like for you to have this big cinematic ride but end in a positive place. There’s always light at the end.”
