SUMMARY:Vermilion Fair
DESCRIPTION:A parade\, beginning at 11:00 am Thursday and lasting about one hour\, marks the beginning of our fair. \nChariots run each afternoon starting at 1:30 pm. \nThe grandstand runs all three days of the fair. The show begins each evening at 7:30 pm with the running of the pony chuck wagons. The grandstand show follows at 8:30 pm. There is no additional charge to attend grandstand performances – gate admission to the fair covers all events. \nAn Antique tractor parade and pull happens on Friday starting at 1:00 pm. \nModified Tractor Pulls take place Saturday afternoon starting at 1:30 pm.  This is no miss entertainment. \nLive Stage entertainment is featured every day of the fair. The open stage is located directly south of the grandstand. \nCowboy Mounted Shooters will perform in front of the Grandsand between showing of the Heavy Hitch Classes \n

A protégé of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark\, he quickly became a master storyteller in his own right\, with his songs being recorded by Johnny Cash\, Waylon Jennings\, Joan Baez\, Emmylou Harris\, The Pretenders\, and countless others. 1986 saw the release of his record\, Guitar Town\, which shot to number one on the country charts and is now regarded as a classic of the Americana genre. Most recently\, Earle’s 1988hitCopperhead Road was made an officials tate song of Tennessee in 2023. \nIn 2020 \,Earle was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. And in 2023\, Steve was honored by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music. Steve’s latest album\, “Alone Again (Live)”\, released on July 12th\, 2024 \nRECKLESS KELLY: \nCall it Reckless Kelly’s Last Hurrah. \nFrom its roots as a barnstorming Idaho outfit to its modern-day status as a torchbearer for independent Americana music from coast to coast\, Reckless has tied Austin rock and cowboy poetry together seamlessly for more than 25 years. SUMMARY:Vermilion Fair
DESCRIPTION:A parade\, beginning at 11:00 am Thursday and lasting about one hour\, marks the beginning of our fair. \nChariots run each afternoon starting at 1:30 pm. \nThe grandstand runs all three days of the fair. The show begins each evening at 7:30 pm with the running of the pony chuck wagons. The grandstand show follows at 8:30 pm. There is no additional charge to attend grandstand performances – gate admission to the fair covers all events. \nAn Antique tractor parade and pull happens on Friday starting at 1:00 pm. \nModified Tractor Pulls take place Saturday afternoon starting at 1:30 pm.  This is no miss entertainment. \nLive Stage entertainment is featured every day of the fair. The open stage is located directly south of the grandstand. \nCowboy Mounted Shooters will perform in front of the Grandsand between showing of the Heavy Hitch Classes \n
