SUMMARY:Plamondon Mud Bog
DESCRIPTION:For those who love nothing better than to cake their tires — never mind their entire vehicles — in the mud\, the Plamondon Mud Bogs are the perfect playground. \nAfterall\, Canadian Mud Racing Organization enthusiasts know it\, as the premiere event of the season. \nThroughout the weekend literally tons of steel will rip its way across the Plamondon Motor Sports Park just outside of Lac La Biche. \nStarted by a couple of guys\, their Jeeps\, and the undeniable need to get muddy\, the event grew into the organized event it is today\, giving circuit CMRO racers a place to do some bogging as well as some amateur mud lovers. \nGalliver said that if participating in the bogs “was something you have to plan for\, and invest in a vehicle for that type of work.” \nOver the weekend\, the hamlet of Plamondon will grow from a population of 350 to welcome roughly 10 times that number of visitors to the bogs along with all the party time trappings: live music\, DJs and beer gardens. And\, of course\, the down and dirty main event.

The dinosaur capital of the world\, and some of the most iconic landscapes you will ever encounter. Located a little NE of Calgary\, the Gran Fondo Badlands travels 162 km\, 100 km\, 75 km or 50 km through the heart of the stunning hoodoos and mighty Red Deer River. \nYou’re going to have a truly epic experience\, passing through prehistoric and picturesque hoodoos and through the lush river valley. \nLocation: Badlands Community Facility (80 Veterans Way\, Drumheller) \n\n\n4:00pm – 8:00pm: Package Pick Up and Expo onsite by the start line (look for the registration tent) \n\n\n5:15pm: Strider Parade \n\n\n5:30pm: Women’s Ride (meet under the finisher arch) \n\n\n6:30pm: Optional Pre-Event Meeting and Q and A (main stage) \n\n\nStrider Parade\nWe welcome all kids on strider bikes to come join us for a Strider Parade around package pick-up. This event is free of charge to all kids who have an adult registered in Gran Fondo Badlands. Each child will get a cookie when they cross the finish line. \nWomen’s Ride\nThe Women’s Ride is a 45-minute very easy\, “no drop” group ride. His reflective nature and fun-loving attitude are mirrored in his unmistakable electronic creations\, each their own serotonin-fueled gateway to a bona fide good time. Now building beats in the heart of Denver\, GRiZ has proven that his eclectic style is boundless. A musical chameleon\, GRiZ is never afraid to flip the switch from upbeat future funk to low-tempo glitch-hop\, dive into the heavier leaning side of bass music\, and even from time to time quench his thirst with a taste of four-on-the-floor or disco. This shape-shifting maestro can do it all\, painting each cut with his vibey hallmark sound print and leaving no question of their genesis. \nAfter an extended hiatus\, GRiZ returned in 2025 with his inaugural Seven Stars Festival in Arrington\, VA\, a gathering of more than 22\,000 fans celebrating his first live performances in two years\, surrounded by a stacked lineup including more than 60 artists in the bass scene.
