Daily circus workshops\, games\, and activities. Also a part of our expanded kids’ programming. \nBusker Academy hours are 10:30am to 5:30pm daily. \n  \nDino Dance Party\nJoin DJ Funkasaurus Rex as he brings the house down – Jurassic style – with some funky beats and lots of dancing! SUMMARY:Muttstock
DESCRIPTION:Muttstock is an annual festival that brings together the dog loving community of Edmonton. Founded after the disband of Avenue Goes To the Dogs\, Muttstock was founded in 2015. Muttstock is a non profit group that raises money for the Rescues and Non Profits that become part of the Organizing Committee. Muttstock was held at Eastwood Community League for 5 years and have since moved to Elmwood Park Community League. Both spaces offer large green field\, a children’s park\, a water park\, and a hall. In past years\, Muttstock has included various activities. We have had face painters\, balloon artists\, caricature artists\, photographers\, entertainment\, and a doggy waterpark. Most activities are free or very low cost. Muttstock makes most of its money from the community BBQ we run every year. We have also raised money through raffles and vendors who participate in our events. We also raise money through nail trims by donation.

The Whyte Avenue Art Walk reveals Alberta’s hidden talent and provides an opportunity for patrons to curate their own art collection from many undiscovered masters. \n\nTime: 10 am – 5 pm daily \nWhere: The event is a grand promenade along Whyte Avenue (82 Avenue) from 101 Street to 108 Street. Artists will fill all the green spaces and several street closures\, too. It’s a long tour\, so bring your walking shoes!

Street performers are that rare breed of entertainer in search of the best place or “pitch” to perform their art. Buskers can be dancers\, mimes\, artists\, clowns\, magicians\, musicians\, puppeteers\, snake charmers\, jugglers\, acrobats\, sword swallowers\, tumblers\, living statues\, comedians\, and just plain weird. \nCentreFest brings all of these unique skills and entertainers to one spot for all to enjoy. DESCRIPTION:Entrance to the Highland Gathering – General admission $10.00 per person – 12 and under\, 65 and over free admission. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. No online tickets\, pay at site at entrance gates\nWhisky Tasting – 12 @ 1/4 oz tasters in our inflatable pub $25.00 all day Tickets HERE \nCeilidh – $15.00 for those 18 and over\, under 18 no charge 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. Last call 10.30 p.m. Tickets HERE \n​We have added a second Whisky station with offerings from our friends at Douglas Laing & Co. presenting their Remarkable Regional Malts Collection\, Established in 1948\, Douglas Laing is a proudly independent\, family owned Scotch Whisky business in its third generation. \nWe are housing these Whisky tastings in a pub\, albeit and inflatable pub\, but a pub all the same. Located next to our beer tent in the beer garden. \n​NEW this year we will be holding a Ceilidh after the Highland Gathering starting at 6:00 P.M. and ending at 11:00 P.M. \nOur Ceilidh will showcase Kim Gates and the Dark Frames band and our Edmonton Scottish Society club band the Clan McNaughton as well as highland dance.\nTickets for the Ceilidh will be sold on our website site HERE and on site at entry time for $15.00 each. \n\n\nNEW THIS YEAR…..\nThere is off site parking available just south of our event at 1005 Eby Road SW and the road leading down to the Cul-De-Sac and back. We will have park and ride shuttle vans to take you to and from the event. The lot will be staffed to assist you in getting on a shuttle and to watch over the lot. There is no charge for the shuttle to and from the event. Also we have opened additional parking on the pan handle land on the north East Corner of the Dome. \n\n\n\nGates Open at 10:00 a.m. \nHighland Gathering Concludes at 4:00 p.m. \nCeilidh Opens at 6:00 p.m. \nCeilidh Concludes at 11:00 p.m.
