DESCRIPTION:“It’s been a hard day’s night\, and I’ve been working like a dog…” \nMusic fans will easily recall these famous lyrics sung by the legendary John Lennon in the timeless Beatles’ hit ‘A Hard Day’s Night’\, a worldwide chart-topping single for the Liverpool group back in 1964. The Beatles are the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed act in the history of popular music and according to Guinness World Records\, their recordings have sold over one billion units. Originally formed in 1960\, the group developed their musical skills and reputation through extensive live performances that culminated into riotous enthusiasm by screaming fans wherever they went\, a phenomenon that became known as ‘Beatlemania!’. \n‘Beatlemania Revisited’\, an international touring show\, recreates the look\, sound and excitement of the fab four’s live performances. This unique musical and theatrical event features a combination of talented European and North American cast members in the roles of John\, Paul\, George and Ringo. \nBeatlemania Revisited is a family oriented\, audience-interactive performance that will have fans laughing\, singing\, dancing and clapping along throughout the show. Musically\, the show features ‘note-for-note’ song recreations by the amazing cast who are further augmented with full costumes along with vintage instruments and equipment. Focusing mainly on The Beatles’ live performances\, the show kicks off with their electrifying first appearance on the Ed Sullivan television show in February 1964\, taking the audience through five years of the Beatles’ era concluding with their famous January 1969 ‘roof top’ concert. SUMMARY:John Butler
DESCRIPTION:John Butler is an Aussie roots rock guitarist and frontman for \, who emerged in the late ’90s and found success with the platinum-selling albums Sunrise Over Sea (2004) and Grand National (2007). Australia’s biggest contribution to the jam band movement\, the trio’s heady amalgam of reggae\, political folk\, blues\, pop\, and acoustic soul dominated the regional charts in the 2000s and 2010s. While facets of alt-rock began seeping into the mix on 2010’s acclaimed April Uprising\, and 2018’s Home and 2023’s Live in Paris saw the group incorporating some electronic elements\,  never lost their knack for pairing deft musicality with addictive yet off-center grooves\, and have managed to maintain a large and loyal fan base both at home and abroad.

Between an ADHD diagnosis and cutting back on some vices\, her perspective—as a musician\, a lover\, a human being—has changed. \nThe follow up to 2022’s For Each Flower Growing (produced with the Sheepdogs’ Sam Corbett)\, Solitary Songs showcases Froese singing songs that sound like dusted-off country classics with wry\, down-to-earth lyricism. One moment\, Froese is confessing\, ‘I’m scared of getting old / But more than that\, I’m scared of living without your love’; the next\, she’s reeling from a false-start fling\, ‘stray cattin’ along’ with a freshly purchased ‘strawberry watermelon turbo-powered vape’. There are no sacred cows in Froese’s world\, with blunt humour meeting heartache while the band plays on.

One night only. Limited tickets are on sale now. \n“When I use this word\, ‘sonic\,’ that’s like my electric side. I’m playing a lot more keyboards compared to my other bands”\, says Hiromi. “Sonicwonderland” celebrates sounds made with her Nord Lead A1 analog modeling synthesizer and Nord Electro 5D. “When I write on this keyboard\, I always end up writing something totally different from when I write on the piano.” \nBorn in Hamamatsu\, Japan\, Hiromi began studying piano when she was six years old. When she was 17\, Chick Corea invited her to play with him at a Tokyo concert. She attended Berklee College of Music in Boston\, Massachusetts\, where she was mentored by jazz legend Ahmad Jamal. A prolific artist\, Sonicwonderland is Hiromi’s twelfth studio full-length and second album of 2023; earlier this year she recorded the soundtrack to Blue Giant\, an animated feature film based on the popular manga. \nHiromi is a perennial favorite on DownBeat’s Annual Critics and Readers Poll\, and has performed at the world’s finest jazz festivals\, including Montreux\, Umbria\, North Sea\, Newport\, and Monterey. Her work has been celebrated by media including the New York Times\, NPR and NPR Music\, and the Washington Post\, and she was a featured performer at the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony in 2021.
