DESCRIPTION:Performers include:\n40th Anniversary Celebration Show\nFor 40 years\, StreetFest has dazzled audiences with daring and exciting variety performances. Start the Festival off by celebrating with us! After all\, you’re only 40 once. \nWatch a once-in-a-lifetime show featuring local\, national\, and international talent on July 5th from 10:00pm to 10:45pm. \n  \nKids’ World\nGames\, activities and shows geared towards the youngest of our Festival goers! We are pleased to expand the hours of our kids’ programming this year. \nKids’ World hours are 10:30am – 5:30pm daily. \n  \nBusker Academy\nDrop by and earn your BSc (Busker Skills and Circus)! Daily circus workshops\, games\, and activities. Also a part of our expanded kids’ programming. \nBusker Academy hours are 10:30am to 5:30pm daily. \n  \nDino Dance Party\nJoin DJ Funkasaurus Rex as he brings the house down – Jurassic style – with some funky beats and lots of dancing! Dinosaur attire is encouraged. \nThis child-friendly dance party is on Churchill Square July 6th and 13th from 10:30am to 11:30am.  \n  \nStreet Performance Roving Artists\, Small Pitch\, and Circle Shows\nPerformers are scheduled all day\, every day throughout the Square during Festival hours from 11:30am to 11:00pm (weather allowing). \n  \nTroupe Variety Show\nGather on the Churchill Square steps to watch a spectacular\, never-before-seen show created by select performers featured throughout the day! \nThe Troupe Variety Show is July 6th\, 7th\, 11th\, 12th and 13th at 10:00pm. \n  \nLate Night Madness Cabaret \nThe one and only\, famous Late Night Madness Cabaret is back for 2024! This adult-only\, ticketed show is on in the Rice at the Citadel Theatre for two nights only. For more information about this amazing show visit Late Night Madness Cabaret \nThe Late Night Madness Cabaret is Friday\, July 12 and Saturday\, July 13 at 11:11 PM \n  \nClosing Group Show \nSay “until next time” to StreetFest with one last fantastic performance. \nGather a final time on the steps to see a show featuring every performer from the Festival on July 14th at 3:00pm.

SUMMARY:Derrick Stroup - Comedy
DESCRIPTION:Alabama native and stand-up comedian Derrick Stroup is not your average slow talking Southerner. With the cadence of an angry auctioneer\, he locks people in with his detailed stories and over the top energy. Like chasing his dreams of stand-up comedy\, Derrick moved to Denver\, Colorado in 2015 and has never looked back. Since then he has become a regular at several clubs in the state and the country. \nDerrick regularly goes on the road with John Crist and Josh Blue and he even won one of the biggest Comedy Contest in the Country in 2019 at the World Famous Comedy Works in Denver. The well respected competition has over 250 entries each year. Derrick also recently shot his Dry Bar Comedy Stand Up special which will be released in 2022. \n \n
